Silver Threads / Senior Moments / BB&C / - Present The Digital Photo Show
We have joined forces to collaborate on this, our first annual digital photo show
The show will be held on Saturday, April 22, and Sunday April 23, 2006 at the Saanich Silver Threads (Les Passmore) Center auditorium, 286 Hampton Rd. We welcome amateur and professional photographers as well as youths 13 to 18 and children 6 to 12.
There will be display tables available for commercial businesses, computer clubs and photography clubs to rent as a means of displaying products or attracting new members.
To Photography Clubs, Computer Clubs and Digital artists
There will be all types of work related to cameras and computers. It does not need to be shot with a digital camera. Even work created from scratch in a photo or drawing program will be eligible if properly presented. Presentation will consist of simple frames with wire backs which can be easily hung on display boards. Sizes should approximate 8" x !0" or 11" x 14". Clip frames with exposed glass edges will not be accepted.
Entry fee for each item:
Professional $10, Amateur $5, Youth 13 to 19yrs $2, children 6 to 12 yrs $1
General Admission: Adults $2, Youth (18 and under) $1, Family $ 5.
Drop Off can be at the Sidney Silver Threads Center or the Saanich Silver Threads on Sunday, April 9, 10am to 12 noon or Monday April 10, 6pm to 8pm.
All items will be picked up at the Saanich Silver Threads Center, Sunday April 23, between 4 and 6pm.
