These help pages are aimed primarily at helping new members find their way around our website and club. More experienced members may find help for specialized topics in links in the column on the right.
Windows

BB&C offers its members free email from our bbs.bbs.org POP mail server. Instructions:
· Thunderbird
· Eudora Tech Support.
· Outlook Express or the Microsoft OE setup.
Newsgroups
We also offer newsgroups from our bbs.bbc.org news server (members only).
· Guidelines and other details. Instructions:
· Thunderbird with overview of BB&C usernames, passwords, etc.
· Free Agent
· Inside Outlook Express (or the official Microsoft set-up page).
Forum
Members may read or post items they are interested in the BB&C Forum. To log in, enter your BB&C username and password.
SIGs
Our Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are organized by members who wish to explore special computer related interests like Photography, Genealogy and other topics. A few have web pages. Check our calendar for current SIGs.
Courses
BB&C offers inexpensive computer related courses where you can receive in-depth help.

Clubhouse Personal Help
For personal help, visit our clubhouse where other members may be able to provide the answers you need. While ther check out our library. You might find the help you need in one of our books, CDs, or DVDs that you can browse and borrow. The clubhouse is usually open Saturdays and Sundays noon to 4pm, and Tuesdays 9am-4pm. Check our calendar if in doubt.
Google It
If the help you need is not BB&C related, and you have an internet connection, visit one of the online search engines. Google is the current favourite and a good starting point. If your search is encyclopedia related, visit Wikipedia. Also check out the New York Times Newsroom Navigator for specialized links.
