BB&C Newsletter
The BB&C newsletter serves as a forum for our members. Contributions on computer realted subjects from members are encouraged. If you are unsure of your literary skills, we will pleased to do gentle editing of your submission prior to publication. If you wish to join the Newsletter staff in either an editorial or administrative position, we would be pleased to hear from you. Or just come to our monthly Newsletter Editorial Review. This is a newsletter working meeting held on a Thursday evening just pror to publication of each issue. See our calendar for dates and time.
To reduce production costs it has become necessary to limit the printing and mailing of the Newsletter to six issues per year, usually every second month. HTML and PDF editions are published every month.
Print Edition
Published on alternate (even) months and delivered to all regular members, to Library and Archives Canada, and to local libraries and to selected computer stores.
Web Edition
Contains similar editorial content to our print edition, however the layout differs to suit the requirements of the web. WWW hyperlinks and extra graphics may be added where appropriate. On occasion, late breaking news, preview, or supplementart articles may be added. Articles reprinted in our print and PDF editions from sister APCUG newsletters and other sources are usually not published in this edition.
PDF Edition
Produced from the same Adobe InDesign source used for our print edition and virtually identical, except graphics are in colour.

Legal Deposit
BB&C supports Library and Archive Canada Legal Deposit of publications by contributing two copies of each edition of our newsletter to the program. For issues that aren't printed for distribution, two copies are printed on our club computer to be sent to Library and Archive Canada. (Two additional copies are also placed in our clubhouse library for reference only.)
"By depositing your publication in LAC's collection, you ensure its preservation for generations to come in the world's foremost collection of Canadiana.
"When your publication is deposited, a brief description is entered in AMICUS, Library and Archives Canada's database. This record of your publication ensures that its existence is made known to the public, and acknowledges your contribution as a Canadian publisher."
